This is Sunshine in Government week. Here are some pieces of legislation up for discussion:
HR 736, which would require the Director of the Government Publishing Office to establish and maintain an online portal accessible to the public that allows the public to obtain electronic copies of all congressionally mandated reports in one place, and for other purposes. https://www.govtrack.us/congress/bills/116/hr736/text
HR 1404, Which proposes the means to strengthen the United States response to Russian interference by providing transparency on the corruption of Russian President Vladimir Putin. https://www.govtrack.us/congress/bills/116/hr1404/text
Both these resolutions are in committee this week. If approved, they will be voted on by the entire House.
