Review our Defund Hate resource and call on Congress to stand against Trump’s atrocities at the border. Trump is still committing human rights abuses at the border to try to scare asylum seekers and refugees away. The best way to fight back is to defund Trump’s deportation machine through the appropriations process, and demand major cuts to ICE and CBP’s funding levels.
Read up on the latest attack on the Affordable Care Act. The ACA is still the law of the land, but Trump’s Justice Department is refusing to defend it in a lawsuit being filed by a group of Republican attorneys general. If the courts rule in their favor, tens of millions of people would be at risk of losing their health care coverage or being charged more for coverage due to a pre-existing condition — and ultimately, this case could go before the Supreme Court.

Pizza served for lunch at no charge, provided by IndivisibleSoCo, but donations, going directly to IndivisibleSoCo, accepted and appreciated.

North Carolina Special Election Postcard Events
Special Elections are coming up in two North Carolina Congressional Districts (NC-03 and NC-09) and we have been asked to help. Are you able to help?
About the races:
• NC-03 is a special election for Congress because the incumbent Congress member Walter B Jones Jr. died on Feb 10th.
• NC-09 is a special election called by the NC State Board of Elections to redo the race because of election fraud committed by the Republican candidate.
We will be writing postcards to people who can’t be reached in any other way (i.e. texting and phone banks). They are people who are not registered OR are disenfranchised voters who have been removed from the voter rolls for some reason (Republican dirty work) with many not even knowing that they have been removed.
We will be giving them information on how to register and ask them to vote early.
Postcards and postage is $10.
