Millions of Americans have personal stories about how the current healthcare system in America is negatively impacting them today. Many want to see major changes, but are not sure about the different proposals.
What is Medicare for All versus Medicare for America? Are universal healthcare and single payer the same? How can a person get involved in working to promote healthcare reform?
Come to the May 28th general meeting of Indivisible Sonoma County to hear Mary McDevitt, a physician involved with Physicians for a National Health Plan, and Maria Behan, a writer and founder of Sonoma County for Single-Payer, discuss the healthcare bills currently in Congress and how you can help get Medicare for All legislation enacted.

The Resistance to Trump has reached a critical point, with Trump using Attorney General William Barr as his personal lawyer, working to discredit the Mueller report’s cataloging of multiple impeachable offenses of collusion and obstruction and to attack Trump’s political opponents.
Yet our Democratic representatives are hesitant and wavering, afraid to begin impeachment hearings. This time it’s not Republicans who need to hear from us, but our Representatives who must find their courage and fast. Appeasement, of Trump, the Republicans, and their supporters, is a road to disaster. Please call your Members of Congress – daily! – to demand they protect the rule of law by beginning impeachment hearings.
