Some things are out of our hands. We cannot control or limit the tweeter in chief, although we wish we could.
Right now, our task is to hold Congress accountable - for their actions and their inaction. We must applaud when they act in our country’s best interests, and chide our officials when they fear to act.
At the same time, we must seize every opportunity to support and encourage - and elect - new voices to Congress, state houses, governors’ mansions, and local spots. Because these are our leaders for tomorrow, and we need to build a stronger base that responds to our country’s needs and truly supports our country’s ideals.
At this point - Plan to vote Blue, No Matter Who. Because the red Party has no conscience and no sense of duty to our country,

As Congress heads back to work, Indivisible is leading a nationwide effort for our representatives to Defund Hate.
ICE and CBP have become abusive organizations carrying out an inhumane agenda, including family separations, irreparable harm to children, and running a system of concentration camps.
Congress has only one way to use their power to slow this abuse: they must cut funding in the appropriations bill that must be passed by the end of September.
Please join us in this national week of action to Defund Hate by making calls to our Senators and Representative beginning on Monday, using our scripts below. Hate the phone? Resistbot (resist.bot) is your friend.
