March on Saturday. Send postcards on Tuesday. Sign letters and make statements - this is how we change the world.
When the news continues to break that our elections aren’t secure, it’s time to speak up. When we learn that our elected leaders simply won’t act on mass shootings - whether they take place in schools or at night clubs - it’s time to speak up. When our neighbors, friends, and family members are afraid, it’s time to speak up.
And when speaking doesn’t get the job done, it’s time to take action.
Sometimes we have to look away from the car crash that is this administration. This week we focus on positive actions (postcards, phone calls, trainings and events) that will directly address our country’s needs. So we can wait out the next dropped shoe. We can not worry about who walks in the parade. We know we will make a difference.
