Three of California’s Republican House members voted NO on the tax scam. Why? Because you called. You mobilized. You showed them over and over again that we were watching.
You can stop the Tax Scam from becoming law. You can open the possibility that the Republican Senate and House will address the needs of all the tax payers in the country. You will help stop ‘trickle down,’ a failed economic policy, from crippling the US as it crippled Kansas.
1. Take Action
When the Republican Senate decided that the only way the tax scam would work was to eliminate one of the pillars of the ACA, many of us became even more engaged. And we are working together with other Indivisible groups to fight back.
On Monday, November 27, join others in sending texts to the Republican senators who ought to be listening to their constituents. See below for more about how to do that.
Take a moment to think of Alabama, and think of what you can do to help our sister Indivisible groups take back their state. Follow this link to find out how to send postcards to voters in Alabama, and how to flip congressional districts in California.
It's easy to get on Indivisible Sonoma County’s amazing phone script app AMPLIFY that makes it easy for us to call our reps and take action together. You can also use it for other actions using a handy cut-paste feature.
How to get on Amplify today:
- Use your phone to go to https://getamplify.org/install
- When it asks, use the Indivisible Sonoma County invite code: 550-532-372
Once you're in the app, you can see who is taking action and cheer them on.
Hope to see you on there soon!
We’ve been far more successful than we could have imagined a year ago and there are tens of thousands of us nationwide. There’s lots to be thankful for. And we will win this. But this week the Republicans are racing at breakneck speed to rush a massive overhaul of the tax system through Congress before the public wakes up to what a disaster this overhaul would be for them and the country. Please get on the phone, or fax or email with these scripts today.
