This week we are focusing on passing a clean Dream Act, halting the Trump Tax Heist, and saving net neutrality. We love this photo from our highly successful tax action on Monday where we joined with Indivisibles from East Bay, Sausalito and San Francisco and told our stories: this is a massive transfer of wealth from the poor and the middle class to Trump and his cronies. Upcoming actions and events are shown below. Join us!
1. Take Action
Senator Kamala Harris signed the Dreamer Pledge—Will you?
Without question, the most vulnerable group in Trump’s America is immigrants. Because Trump terminated DACA, over 10,000 Dreamers are estimated to have already lost their protections, and nearly 1,000 more will lose DACA each week and become vulnerable to Trump’s deportation force.
To stand indivisible means to treat an attack on one as an attack on all—that is why we are calling on Congress to pass a clean Dream Act.
There is bipartisan support for the Dream Act in both the Senate and House. The majority of Americans do not want to pour billions of their tax dollars to fund Trump’s mass deportation machine. Demand that Congress pass the Dream Act. Now.
We still have time to HALT THE TRUMP TAX HEIST. Please us this dialer tool to call into Red Districts and ask sympathetic folks in those districts to make the calls to their MoCs. You need to join/log in with your email, then for each campaign you need a campaign ID and passcode.

Find our amazing scripts twice a week on the web (Phone Scripts 12.7 thru 12-10-17) and on Amplify. This week we are focusing on passing a clean Dream Act, halting the Trump Tax Heist, and saving net neutrality. If you haven't Amplified yet, you are missing out on a great tool that aligns you with the Indivisible National movement. Yes, soon our own home-grown (ISF) Amplify is going to be adopted across the nation!
Amplify is easy to get on:
1. Use your phone to go to https://getamplify.org/install
2. When it asks, use the Indivisible Sonoma County invite code: 550-532-372
Once you're in the app, you can see who is taking action and cheer them on. Hope to see you on there soon!
Take Action for Net Neutrality
–> Thursday, December 7, 1:00 PM
Santa Rosa’s Verizon store
844 4th St.
Santa Rosa, CA 95404
It's 4th street, the main strip in Santa Rosa. The street outside is public and we will be protesting there. There's also a dealer in the mall just down the street and we should have people outside the mall as well (more traffic).
Join others who are outraged by top Verizon lawyer turned FCC Chairman Ajit Pai’s plan to gut net neutrality. Groups will protest at Verizon retail stores across the country on Thursday, December 7th, one week before an expected vote at the FCC. Protesters will make it clear to members of Congress that the time is now to stand for net neutrality, not Verizon’s bottom line.
And, please remember, this event is about protesting actions of Verizon executives, lobbyists and their supporters in Washington, not the employees at these stores.
