Santa Rosa Legal Observer Training for the Sonoma County ICE raid hotline

  • The Peace and Justice Center 467 Sebastopol Road Santa Rosa, CA, 95407 United States (map)

Migra Watch is a project designed to create a way for impacted community members and their allies to respond to ICE raids in our neighborhoods in real time. When ICE targets someone in our community, we will respond, observe, and offer services. No more ICE raids in the dark! The central resource for this process is the Migra Watch hotline, which operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

If you take the training to become a legal observer, when a report of an ICE raid within 1 to 5 miles of your location is received, hotline dispatchers will send you a text alert. Available legal observers will deploy to the reported site of the raid to document ICE conduct. Simultaneously, the dispatcher will guide the immigrant regarding his or her rights and provide moral support on the phone.
