These issues won’t go away if we sit on our hands and watch the earth die. We need to call - and then call again. They count each call, and they listen to what we have to say. Call now.
It’s Sunshine Week*! Help our MoCs shed some light on the government - make your calls!
*During Sunshine Week, hundreds of media organizations, civic groups, libraries, nonprofits, schools and other participants engage public discussion on the importance of open government through news and feature articles and opinion columns; special Web pages and blogs; infographics; editorial cartoons; public service advertising; public seminars and forums. The purpose of the week is to highlight the fact that "government functions best when it operates in the open."
There are only so many minutes in the day. Take three minutes, and call our Members of Congress. Tell them No Wall. Urge them to vote NO on the nominee for Attorney General. Push to get a Green New Deal.
And for the sake of all that’s good in humanity, tell them to reunite the children with their families. This national disgrace should have ended a year ago.
Your calls are important to us. Your representatives are standing by.
Please call to urge our Members of Congress to see all the children reunited with their families. Support our Representatives as they work to reopen the government. And tell our Senators to hold fast - NO votes on any items that do not open the government.
Call our Members of Congress - and keep them focused on our issues. Call about immigration policy, the tax scam, and Republican efforts to tamper with elections. Call about judicial appointments, committee assignments, and Russian efforts to interfere in our elections - and the relationship between the current president and Russia.
Violence. Lies. Corruption.
Make your calls to urge our Members of Congress to call out the violence, lies, and corruption. And urge our Senators to use every legislative tool available to put a halt to the Republican majority stacking and packing the courts with ultra-conservatives and incompetents. Enough is enough.
Time to make some calls.
