Hi, my name is _______ . I’m a constituent from zip code______ and a member of Indivisible. I’m calling to thank [the MoC] for fighting hard for our country this year. I’m deeply grateful for all of [her/his] hard work and hope that this week will be a respite, because in 2018 we will all need to redouble our efforts if we are to save our country.
This past year has been one of the most challenging in our nation’s history. We have a president who mocks the rule of law, freedom of the press and civil society. He’s an unhinged authoritarian, working to destroy our norms and our country every single day. Worse, his party has fallen in behind him, becoming not only complicit but seeking to undermine working Americans and to cement an authoritarian state corruptly aligned with oligarchs. Together, they have been an abomination. Yet we have resisted and [the MoC] has fought back. Thank you!
Next year we’ll need [the MoC] to remain steadfast and to lead – not just to resist, but to attack, not just to follow us but to carry high the values that have always defined America: fairness, justice, reason, plurality, freedom. If we join this fight together, give not an inch but press always forward, 2018 will be a year of victory for our cause. We will be there with [him/her] – every step of the way.
Push Back on the Republican/Russian Smear Campaign
Hi, my name is _______ . I’m a constituent from zip code______ and a member of Indivisible. I’m calling to ask [the MoC] to speak up regularly to defend the rule of law and its institutions, including the FBI and the Mueller investigation.
The Republican Party, abetted again by Russian trolls and online propaganda, is using the worst possible tactics to try to discredit not only the Mueller investigation but also the FBI. This is effectively an attack on the rule of law and its institutions and it must be countered in the strongest possible terms. I need [my MoC] to fight back tooth and nail, not just denigrating their smears and lies, but reminding people what is at stake: the rule of law and by extension, our freedom and preservation. The Republicans are betraying our country and it’s values: yes, call them out explicitly – and also remind everyone of what our values are and why they are precious.
Will [the MoC] be heard daily calling out the lies and defending our society and its institutions?

The Tax Bill is Law. Now Brand the GOP.

I’m calling to ask [the MoC], now that the monstrous tax scam has become law, to continue to brand the Republican Party with the identity they have chosen. Republicans are the party which attacks working Americans while showering favoritism and riches on the already-wealthy. They work in secret, lying when they’re forced to talk about the legislation because the more people know about the law, the more they hate it. They’ve carved out loophole upon loophole for their favorite (and rich) constituents and for themselves. All the while they’ve ignored analyses and facts, turning instead to magical thinking and lies.

No Continuing Resolution without DACA and CHIP!
Hi, my name is _______ . I’m a constituent from zip code______ and a member of Indivisible. I’m calling to ask [the MoC] to vote “no” on any continuing resolution to fund the government unless it includes fixes to DACA and CHIP.
Democrats have neither the power nor the responsibility to keep the government open. We are not the majority party. But we must be willing to vote “no” on passage of spending bills which don’t include key needs. Among these are protection for DREAMers and funding CHIP (the Childrens’ Health Insurance Program). Each of these goals enjoys broad public support and, more importantly, is a humanitarian necessity. Without these being included, we must withhold our support and let the Republicans try to pass the spending bill on their own.
Please ask [the MoC] to hold firm and not vote for any CR which doesn’t include fixing DACA and CHIP.
