Boycott the State of the Union Address
Hi, my name is _______ and I’m a constituent from zip code______ and a member of Indivisible. I’m calling to ask [the MoC] to boycott Tuesday’s State of the Union address.
In normal times boycotting the Address would be unthinkable. These are anything but normal times. Trump is unfit to be President. He is an authoritarian who unceasingly calls for attacks on the press, the judiciary and the rule of law. He’s a racist and a pathological liar. He doesn’t deserve our respect and he shouldn’t be listened to. A number of Representatives have already said they won’t attend the address. Supreme Court Justice indicates that she won’t attend the address. Will [the MoC] please join them in boycotting the State of the Union address?

Protect the Mueller Investigation
Hi, my name is _______ and I’m a constituent from zip code______ and a member of Indivisible. I’m calling to ask [the MoC] to demand that Republicans move forward on legislation to protect the Mueller investigation.
Every week Mueller draws the net tighter and every week more news surfaces about Trump’s wrongdoing. Every week the Republicans increase their attacks on the FBI and the Justice Department in an effort to derail justice and accountability, in a betrayal of our country. Now we’ve learned that Trump tried to fire Mueller once. Mueller’s effort must be safeguarded and Republicans must be called out if they refuse. Will [my MoC] stand up for our democracy?

Defend the Census
Hi, my name is _______ and I’m a constituent from zip code______ and a member of Indivisible. I’m calling to ask [the MoC] to insist that the 2020 Census not include a question about the respondent’s citizenship.
The Census count is used to determine representation in Congress. An inaccurate count will result in unfair representation, which is exactly why Republicans are trying to scare off respondents by inserting a question asking if they are citizens. The GOP can’t win elections fairly and they’re determined to cheat instead. They must be stopped.

California Must Lead the Way On Climate Change
Hi, my name is _______ and I’m a constituent from zip code______ and a member of Indivisible. I’m calling to ask [the Assembly Member] to co-sponsor and revive SB 100 to ensure that 100% of California’s electricity is produced from zero-carbon resources by 2045.
Climate change is a threat to human survival. It doesn’t get any scarier than that. We must move as quickly as possible to a carbon-free future. We’re well on our way and we must keep pushing. Entrenched interests stalled the bill in the fall but it must be revived and passed.
