Weakened protections for consumers. Regulations for gun ownership. Tariffs. And Sanctuary States and Cities. The damage to our country will continue unless we make noise.

Stop Selling Out Our Financial Protections

Hi, my name is _______ and I’m a constituent from zip code______ and a member of Indivisible. I’m calling to ask [the MoC] to condemn the Democratic Leadership for allowing members to defect and weaken banking regulations.

The Trump regime, in partnership with Congressional Republicans, is doing everything it can to weaken protections of every kind. They do this not only by passing legislation but also by refusing to staff agencies and to enforce laws. Democrats who are being allowed to vote for loosening Dodd-Frank’s protections against abuses of the financial system are giving up protections and getting nothing in return. This is unconscionable.

Will [the MoC] clearly tell their leaders that this is an outrage?

Keep Our Children Safe

Hi, my name is _______ and I’m a constituent from zip code______ and a member of Indivisible. I’m calling to ask [the MoC] to continue to carry forward the message of the Parkland students:  keep our children safe by protecting them from weapons of war.

It’s been nearly a month since the Parkland shootings, but the students haven’t stopped. I know that [the MoCs] commitment to this issue runs deep, but I also realize that the news cycle is turbulent in these times. The students are doing their part to keep up the pressure. I’m asking [the MoC] to do the same. Don’t stop, keep talking about them and the issue, keep pushing for change. And – march on the 24th!

Where Is Your Leadership on Opposing Tariffs?

Hi, my name is _______ and I’m a constituent from zip code______ and a member of Indivisible. I’m calling to ask [the MoC] to denounce Trump’s misguided tariffs.

Where are the Democratic voices in response to this insanity? Our financial well-being and our global stability rest on the foundations of open trade. Trump’s tariffs will ignite a trade war that will damage both the American economy and our relationships with allies. This is wrong, wrong, wrong. Republicans are also unhappy about it, but their spines disappeared long ago and are not coming back. Democrats must denounce the tariffs in the strongest possible terms.

I need to see on the news this week that [my MoC] is denouncing the tariffs!

Kellyanne Must Be Prosecuted

Hi, my name is _______ and I’m a constituent from zip code______ and a member of Indivisible. I’m calling to ask [the MoC] to demand the prosecution of Kellyanne Conway for violations of the Hatch Act.

The Hatch Act makes restricts campaign activities by federal employees. Conway clearly broke this law three times, most recently in making comments campaigning for Roy Moore’s failed bid in Alabama, according to the Office of Special Counsel. Trump won’t hold her accountable because his regime pretends that it is above the law. She must be held accountable.

The White House thinks voters don’t care. Show them that we do! Will [the MoC] demand Conway’s prosecution?

Denounce Jeff Sessions’s Attack

Hi, my name is _______ and I’m a constituent from zip code______ and a member of Indivisible. I’m calling to ask [the MoC] to continue to denounce the suit filed by Attorney General Jeff Sessions against California over protections we are providing to residents against the gestapo-like tactics of ICE.

Senator Feinstein put it well:  the administration “continues to attack California in an attempt to score points with the president’s political base. These attacks are unacceptable and will not be tolerated.”

Will [the MoC] continue to defend California residents against Sessions’s attack?
