Moving into April, we have some great opportunities to build fellowship, celebrate our efforts, and listen to each other. We start with upcoming events; please read these details carefully because once a march or protest or special event begins, we will be on the ground, not on our mobile devices:
March for Health
Saturday, April 1, 2017 12 pm - 3pm. Downtown Santa Rosa.
Marching for equitable and affordable access to quality healthcare for all, we’ll join with the March for Health in downtown Santa Rosa this Saturday. Indivisible Sonoma County folks are gathering at Rae Park (715 Rae Street, near where D St. meets Sonoma Ave.) at 11 am. The rally starts at noon, and the march at 1 pm. Please wear purple and meet us on the lawn next to the large statues in Rae Park that face Sonoma Avenue. There is free parking at the 555 First Street parking lot and on Maple Avenue, about a half mile to the south of Rae Park. If you can’t make it early, find the Indivisible table with our purple banner at the rally.
‘Release Your Returns’ Picnic and Protest
Saturday, April 15, 2017 1 pm - 4 pm. Doyle Park Santa Rosa/USPS Main Office Santa Rosa.
Indivisible Sonoma County calls on President Trump to Release His Tax Returns from the past 12 years to prove he is working for the American people, instead of getting rich from foreign governments and shady deals. Since 1980, every major party nominee has voluntarily released their tax returns. Please read the eventbrite invitation text carefully because this is really two events: a ticketed picnic at Doyle Park followed by a protest at the Post Office open to all who care about transparency and ethics.
