Thank you!

Keep it In the Ground Act

Hello, my name is ____ and I live in [City, Zip].  I am also a member of Indivisible Sonoma County. Thank you for introducing your Keep it in the Ground Act on April 28th. I believe strongly that a move toward clean energy is in the best interest of our health and the health of the planet. As the H.R. 2242 sits in your Committee on Natural Resources, I encourage you to and Rep. Barbara Lee to put the pressure on Rep. Bipartisan bill protecting non-citizen military service personnel

Hello, my name is _____ and I live in [City, Zip]. I am also a member of Indivisible Sonoma County. I am calling to thank Representative Thompson for co-sponsoring the bill to make citizenship easier for military personnel and their families. Men and women who have given their service to our country, putting their lives in danger to protect our freedom, should not be at risk of deportation. I want to also thank Representative Thompson for working with Representative Ros-Letinen to bring this bill to the floor.

Affordable Healthcare

Hi, my name is _____ and I live in [City, Zip]. I am also a member of Indivisible Sonoma County. I am calling in regards to the AHCA. In case the AHCA passes the house, please ask the Senator to immediately  speak out in the media against repeal of the Affordable Care Act. She needs to make it clear to the nation that she wants to protect people with pre-existing conditions, those on Medicaid, and everyone else who depends on the Affordable Care Act for their health and wellbeing. This is extremely important to me and I will be watching closely for her public statements in opposition.Thank you for your time.

Explore Legal Action against Trump

Hi, my name is _____ and I live in [City, Zip]. I am also a member of Indivisible Sonoma County.I am pleased to hear that Senator Blumenthal is considering courses of action, including a lawsuit, that would enable the Senate to hold Trump, and others in the administration, accountable for their conflicts of interest. Please tell the Senator that I would like her to work closely and directly with Senator Blumenthal to review the possibility of a lawsuit or any other actions to get to the bottom of the tangled web of Trump’s conflicts. Thank you!

Continuing investigation into Russian intervention in US election

Hi, my name is _____ and I live in [City, Zip].  I am also a member of Indivisible Sonoma County.  I am calling because I continue to be concerned that the Russian government and its agents may have worked to change the outcome of the recent Presidential election.  The current administration, and those who worked to get that administration in place, must be transparent or face increased scrutiny. Carter Page, who stated repeatedly that he would cooperate with the Senate, has refused to provide notes and contacts he has had with the Russian government.  I expect the Senator to speak out forcefully and frequently, on the floor and to the media, about the data collected and any further refusal to provide documentation and testimony. Thank you!

Oppose  Executive Order

Hi, my name is _____ and I live in [City, Zip]. I am also a member of Indivisible Sonoma County. On May 4, the Republican President met with members of religious organizations to sign an Executive Order that addressed religious political speech. This order creates an opportunity for various religious organizations to attempt to circumvent the Johnson Amendment that prohibits certain types of political activity (actively endorsing one candidate or another) for tax exempt groups, including religious organizations and 501(c)(3) charities. How will you protect the First Amendment? Freedom of religion does not give people the right to impose their beliefs on others, harm others, or to discriminate against others. Thank you!
