Since 1934 — yes, that’s 90 years — the Republicans have been working to make certain there would be no Social Security. First by opposing the act, then by trying, over and over, to overturn it. They are still trying.
It’s not only Social Security. The Republicans are talking about repealing everything from women’s right to vote(!) to public education.
We will miss the full eclipse on April 8, and yet, we are watching efforts to fully eclipse any form of government of, for, and by the people.

Many of us take fresh water and clean air for granted, yet thousands of people who live in CD22 don’t have access to clean drinking water, breath dirty air, and the region has highest childhood asthma rates in the nation.
