President Biden has been moving closer to confronting Netanyahu. And Netanyahu has been telling Biden to get lost. It’s (past) time for Biden to say “stop”. Particularly since Israel is now targeting the only safe space left in Gaza.
Lives are being lost every day and hundreds of thousands are threatened with starvation (many of whom will die even if relief were to be restored tomorrow). The only way to deliver aid is with a ceasefire and funding restored to UNRWA.

RESTORE FUNDING TO UNRWA
& DEMAND A CEASEFIRE
When the UN released its finding that Israel is plausibly committing genocide in Gaza, Israel’s response was to allege that 12 of the 33,000 workers for the United Nations Relief Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) had taken part in the October 7th attacks.
There has been no verification of that allegation, but President Biden’s response was to withdraw U.S. funding for UNRWA. With half a million Gazans facing starvation, this was a disastrous decision and a clear case of collective punishment, a war crime.
Biden must reverse his position, restore funding, and call for a ceasefire so that food, water, and medicine may reach the Palestinians in Gaza.

In response to citizen pressure, lawmakers in Sacramento have introduced AB 1999,, which will repeal the utility tax the utilities managed to sneak into last year’s AB 205. The utilities will fight back, so now’s the time to push our representatives to stand firm and get this done.
