We found out this last week that Kirstjen Nielsen’s DHS had separated thousands more children, beginning earlier, than had been reported. This is outrageous and inhumane. It must be put right. Will [the MoC] commit to an unceasing effort to see all children reunited?

Withhold Consent Until the Government is Reopened

We have a process for deciding to direct funding for projects undertaken by the government. It’s called legislation. Holding government workers hostage is not a part of it. Begin the Process of Impeachment
Hi, my name is _______ and I’m a constituent from zip code______ and a member of Indivisible. I’m calling to ask [Representative Huffman / Thompson] to insist that the House of Representatives begin, methodically and carefully, the process of impeaching Donald Trump.
Donald Trump has clearly failed to uphold his oath of office. He violates it nearly every day. Our Founders specified a remedy for removing unfit presidents and the words “Special Counsel” are to be found nowhere in it.
To quote Yoni Applebaum: “It is absurd to suggest that the Constitution would delineate a mechanism too potent to ever actually be employed. Impeachment, in fact, is a vital protection against the dangers a president like Trump poses. And, crucially, many of its benefits—to the political health of the country, to the stability of the constitutional system—accrue irrespective of its ultimate result. Impeachment is a process, not an outcome, a rule-bound procedure for investigating a president, considering evidence, formulating charges, and deciding whether to continue on to trial.”
