The Resistance was formed and the Blue Wave driven by people all over the country who wanted to see Trump and the Republicans enabling him opposed. We fully expected, after flipping the House last fall, that opposition was, finally, what we would see. So far, we were largely wrong. Are you angry about it?
It’s past time for the House Democratic leadership to step up. Public support for impeachment is at 45% – higher than it was for Nixon at this stage. The children, women, and men being held in camps are suffering. Trump is on the verge of defying the Supreme Court. He’s being allowed to get away with it. Again.

Defund Hate

Under Trump, ICE and CBP are completely out of control, agents of his violent racism. They are tearing families apart and abusing the children, holding them in cages and concentration camps. They brook no oversight and could care less about Congress’s inquiries. Any additional funds given to them will be used for more abuse, not better care, because they’ve shown that harming inmates isn’t an accident, it’s intentional. Hearings NOW on Trump’s Concentration Camps

Hold a Climate Debate!

Eliminate Plastic Pollution and Waste

Single-use products—typically plastic packaging – are overflowing our landfills, fouling our oceans and streets, and burdening the environment. Current disposal and recycling policies cannot resolve these problems, and California can no longer afford to wait for a resolution.
Senate Bill 54 requires reduction, composting or recycling of 75 percent of single-use packaging by 2030. It’s a goal we can and must achieve in California. I’m asking the Senator to vote “YES” on SB 54.
