Stop Separating Families
Hi, my name is _______ and I’m a constituent from zip code______ and a member of Indivisible. I’m calling to ask [the MoC] to demand that the Trump administration* STOP separating families at the border and reunite those still separated.
Our government lied to us. Despite their promises, they never really stopped separating families and they haven’t reunited all the ones they were ordered to back in the summer. This is inexcusable. Please ensure that Congress uses all measures in its power, including investigation and cutting off funding for pet White House projects, unless the separations stop and families are reunited.

NO to the New Tax Scam

Republicans won’t learn their lesson, evidently, until they’re all out of a job. Their tax bill a year ago was historically unpopular and helped fuel a nationwide, full-throated rejection of their party. Now they want to jam through, from the discredited Republican House, another tax bill. Please tell them, from the American people, to stuff it.

Denounce Republican Election Tampering
Hi, my name is _______ and I’m a constituent from zip code______ and a member of Indivisible. I’m calling to ask [the MoC] to demand a full investigation into election tampering in North Carolina’s House District 9, where evidence is pointing to tampering by the Republican candidate, Mark Harris.
The Board of Elections has refused to certify the election, which Harris supposedly won by less than a thousand votes, because of irregularities. It appears that Harris may have hired someone who oversaw an operation that destroyed or changed absentee ballots belonging preponderantly to voters of color. There must be a full investigation and, if the allegations are true, Harris’s ‘victory’ must be forfeited. And he should go to jail. And please don’t forget to remind Republicans that they are apparently the only ones committing they election fraud they are constantly complaining about.

Manchin Must NOT Become Ranking Member of Energy & Natural Resources
Hi, my name is _______ and I’m a constituent from zip code______ and a member of Indivisible. I’m calling to ask the Senator to take every step possible to ensure that Senator Joe Manchin does NOT become the ranking member of the Energy & Natural Resources Committee.
We have taken back the House and they will begin work on urgently needed global warming legislation. When we take back the Senate and White House in 2020, we need to be able to move that legislation forward at lightning speed. That effort will die in committee if Manchin, as ranking member, becomes the Chair. This must not happen. There are several others ahead of him for the post – Cantwell, Wyden, Sanders, Stabenow – but they may not want it. They must either be convinced to accept the responsibility or it should go to Senator Martin Heinrich. Under no circumstances must it go to Manchin.

Block All Judicial Nominations / Protect Mueller

SMART Train Pedestrian Crossing Needed!

Despite overwhelming public support (including Santa Rosa City Council and Press Democrat editorial board) for an at-grade bike/pedestrian crossing at Jennings Avenue, SMART's General Manager continues to oppose it. Many citizens have spoken out during public comment at SMART Board meetings, but the Board itself has not put the issue on their agenda for discussion and/or action. Email the SMART Board, requesting that they do so.
The next SMART Board meeting is December 5; they released the agenda on Friday, November 30.
