Tell our Members of Congress: Support FBI neutrality (and encourage it!); make the case for Impeachment; pass legislation that protects DREAMers. While you are at it, remember the 8th of February is the deadline for passing the budget OR a continuing resolution. And remind our Senators and Congressmen that compromise does not mean our values lose.

We are focused on the many ways the Republican President has failed.

After overwhelming bipartisan support, he didn’t sanction Russia. He has weakened the FBI, the CIA, the National Security Administration - all aspects of government that other presidents have worked to support. His decision to endanger children - by eliminating DACA, failing to fund CHIP for months, and risking education - fail the next generation, too. It’s time to call.

We urge our Senators and Congressmen to boycott the State of the Union and protect the Mueller investigation. And we add calls to our State Assembly and Senate members supporting Climate Change legislation.

Congress is on break right now, but that doesn’t mean things have stopped. On February 8, if there is no DREAM Act, the US Senators and Representatives will have to decide whether to keep the government open. The investigation into Russian interference in our elections continues. We continue to pressure for change.

The Republican Congress decided that shutting down the government was so much better than negotiating with Democrats in good faith. This week, we thank our Senators and Representatives for voting NO on the continuing resolution and urge them to continue to do so until DACA is resolved and CHIP is funded. And because the Republican President has failed, to boycott the State of the Union address.

We’re doubling down on asking our Members of Congress to vote to preserve DACA, Reinstate CHIP, and censure the Republican President.

It’s been a week of bold statements and amazingly false steps. Make your calls to our Senators and Representatives. Thank them and encourage them to take a strong position defending our rights.

This week we ask our legislators to use their leverage: 14,000 Dreamers have already lost their protection status. Parents are being turned away from the Children’s Health Insurance Program. This is unacceptable, and we ask our Senators and Congressmen to continue government funding only if these measures are passed. We also ask them to ensure the Mueller investigation takes its course, and the Census process is protected.

The New Year brings us some new data. According to the Washington Post, Trump has told 1,950 lies in only 347 days in office. We cannot allow another two years of unchecked power by a man so unfit to lead. Our lawmakers need to diligently rein in this administration – and its enablers. Keep calling!

Finish off this year strong. Take time to thank our Members of Congress for standing with us as we Resist. And hold the republicans accountable for the disastrous tax bill, DACA, CHIP, and the Russian investigation!

Urge our Senators and. Representatives to let the Republicans shut down the government if DACA and CHIP are not included.  Thank our members of Congress for their votes on the Republican Tax. Scam - and encourage them to repeal it. And don’t forget Net Neutrality! There is so much that only we can do!

As Republicans rush to finish their tax plan, a USA TODAY/Suffolk University Poll, released on Sunday, showed that only 32 percent of Americans support the Republican tax plan, with more than half predicting it would not lower tax bills for their families or help the economy in a major way. The people are right and the GOP is wrong. Please keep calling and let our MoCs know you oppose this bill.

With so much going on, focus is important. Please make your calls today - and again tomorrow.  Our scripts urge our Senators and Representatives to hold the Republican Congress to account for the Tax Scam, efforts to stop the Mueller investigation, failure to act on the DREAMers and to fund CHIP, and using tax dollars to hush up sexual impropriety.

Ask all of your MoCs to refuse to help Republicans pass a spending bill unless it contains a clean DREAM Act. Also remind them all that the GOP owns the horrible tax bill -- this is a fight to the end to save the 99% of us who will be damaged by this bill. There are no more reasonable or responsible Republicans. No moderates, no mavericks. Urge our Members of Congress to be prepared to let the Republicans shut down the government. Net neutrality, concealed carry are also all critical issues - please keep calling.
